Operated by Coleman Health Services, Bean and the Baker serves fresh-ground, organic coffee, pastries baked on site, healthy smoothies, homemade soups, fresh salads, sandwiches, wraps and a generous selection of homemade desserts. And it serves as a WorkSource training and vocational site for people involved with rehabilitation treatment programs.

Coleman’s Health Services & Rental Management

Benefits of Property Management

Offering occupancy to Section 8 tenants has its advantages. The amount of Section 8 subsidies can vary – based on the tenant’s income eligibility and fair market rent determined by HUD.  Tenants are responsible for any difference between the actual rent charged by the landlord and the amount subsidized by Section 8. However, there are other benefits, too.

It’s dependable income

With the Section 8 program, you will receive the Public Housing Authority’s portion of the rent on time. And because Section 8 tenants are at risk of losing their housing voucher if they don’t adhere to the terms of their lease, they are more likely to pay their portion of the rent on time, too.

Increase your visibility

Section 8 landlords can post their rental property on the HUD site to help people in need of low-income housing.

Get exposure to more applicants

No matter where your rental property is, accepting Section 8 tenants can open the door to a larger group of renters in your area, which can ultimately allow you to fill your vacancy more quickly.
